Walla Walla University social media
One of the areas I oversaw at Walla Walla University was the university’s social media accounts including Instagram and TikTok. This included hiring and supervising the social media team, creating engaging content, utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro to edit videos, collaborating with students and faculty to create content for various departments and events, ensuring brand consistency, and keeping an eye on new social media trends and features. Here are some pieces that I've worked on for Walla Walla University's social media accounts.
“Day in the Life” videos
A series I brought to the account were "Day in the Life" reels which highlighted students in different majors, showing their life in and out of the classroom. The purpose of these reels were to highlight the various academic departments at WWU. We also used this format to highlight student internships.
In the following videos, I asked the students to film short clips of their day and I edited them together.
Athletics team videos
These videos were created in collaboration with the Athletics department of Walla Walla University.
Tours
Here are videos I created to showcase different spaces around campus. I shot and edited all of these videos and worked closely with the departments to make sure the content was accurate.
Alumni highlight videos
This is a series that I introduced to the account which highlighted what alumni were up to since graduating from WWU, in short form video content.

Here are a variety of reels I conceptualized, filmed, and edited to boost engagement and raise awareness for various campus events.
Posts
As the social media manager for WWU, I was responsible for managing content across multiple platforms. In addition to creating video content and supervising the social media team, I also collaborated with photographers, selected photos, scheduled posts, and wrote engaging captions to connect with our audience.
